The Qingdao Automated Testing Project was established to meet the maintenance and production needs of CRH2-platform high-speed trainsets, enhance operational efficiency and product quality, and achieve automation in testing, recording, printing, and data uploading.
This project features the first fully automated, container-based testing equipment for high-speed train maintenance, characterized by its high technical complexity and advanced automation levels. It requires parsing communication protocols and integrating all control software into a single unified platform. Additionally, custom-developed serial-to-WiFi and Ethernet-to-WiFi conversion devices enable wireless control between cabinets, while tailored key-operated fixtures ensure programmable control of the chassis buttons. Finally, custom-built opto-electro-optical switching fixtures allow precise management of fiber optic signal connectivity.
The project was officially approved in early June 2017. Following approval, every member of the project team worked tirelessly and committed themselves fully to overcoming numerous challenges and obstacles. They consistently adhered to the project schedule outlined in the detailed project plan, ensuring that each milestone was executed precisely as intended. As a result, the project successfully completed the assembly and shipment of all equipment in early September of the same year, and by the end of October, the pre-acceptance process was also finalized. The project’s timely delivery—delivered on time, with guaranteed quality and quantity—along with the unwavering dedication of the entire team, earned high praise and recognition from the client.
The project was awarded Longhe Company’s Best Project of the Year 2017. This prestigious recognition would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of everyone on the project team.
