At 8:30 a.m. on July 6, the 2019 National Railway Vehicle Specialty Teaching Steering Committee Working Conference, co-organized by our company and hosted by Hunan Railway Science and Technology Vocational College, was held at the Zhuzhou Kaiyuan Manju Hotel. Attendees included Dai Lianhua, President of Hunan Railway Science and Technology Vocational College; Wang Hua, Deputy Director of the National Railway Vehicle Specialty Teaching Steering Committee and Vice President of Jilin Railway Vocational & Technical College; Wu Haichao, Deputy Director of the National Railway Vehicle Specialty Teaching Steering Committee and Dean of the Locomotive & Rolling Stock College at Nanjing Railway Vocational & Technical College; and Peng Yongcheng, Secretary of the National Railway Vehicle Specialty Teaching Steering Committee and Dean of the Railway Vehicle College at Hunan Railway Science and Technology Vocational College. Experts from railway sections such as Changsha Vehicle Depot, Guangzhou EMU Depot, and Wuhan High-Speed Train Training Depot, along with leaders and faculty members from railway vocational colleges across the country, also attended the meeting. The conference was chaired by Yuan Qingwu, Chairman of the National Railway Vehicle Specialty Teaching Steering Committee.
Wu Shuangqing, General Manager of ZHUZHOU CHANGHE ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD, warmly welcomed the attending leaders and experts on behalf of the company. He provided a detailed overview of the company’s production scale, manufacturing capabilities, industry-education integration initiatives, and collaborative efforts between academia and industry. Mr. Wu then highlighted the company’s newly developed product: the network control system. As a co-organizing partner of the National Teaching Steering Committee for Railway Vehicle Specialization, he emphasized that the company is fully committed to meticulous preparation and seamless coordination, ensuring top-notch service and optimal conditions to support the host institution, Hunan Railway Science and Technology Vocational College, in successfully executing all aspects of the event—and ultimately contributing to the conference’s complete success.
It is reported that the two-day conference will focus on the development and application of teaching resources for railway vehicle engineering, review the 2018 activities of the National Steering Committee for Railway Vocational Education, outline plans for 2019, and arrange details for the CRH380B EMU door system maintenance and troubleshooting skills competition. Additionally, the meeting will assess and approve the "Recommended Guidelines for Railway Vehicle Programs in Higher Vocational Schools" and the "Guidelines for Developing EMU Maintenance Technology Programs in Higher Vocational Institutions."
